Justice Qayyum Report Summary

 

Qayyum report not to affect current players: Tauqir
'We'll implement 99.9 pc of the recommendations made by the judge'
LAHORE: Chairman, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Lt Gen Tauqir Zia has said there was no planned match-fixing and betting as far Pakistan players were concerned.

 

Summary of the Justice Qayyum Report

According the above statement no player is involved in Match Fixing in the current Pakistani Team. Now Its the time to mention the name of the players, who were involved in match fixing and also the suggested punishments.

Justice Qayyum suggested the life ban on Salim Malik and Mushtaq Ahmed in his report. He also suggested  a heavy fine on Wasim Akram, Saeed Anwar, Waqar Younis, Inzamam ul Haq. One more thing is that Wasim Akram will never be the captain of Pakistan Cricket team in future.

Justice Qayyum analysed all the reports from the year 1994 and gave helpful suggestoins to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to control Match fixing in the Pakistan Cricket Team on the basis of Manager's reports. (The manager of the team is responsible to give the complete report at the end of every tour to the board).
